<p><i> Today's picture shows a pyramid with a manger scene. Joseph has a Christmas Matins lantern in his hands. Lanterns of this type are used in the Erzgebirge on the way to Christma Matins on the morning of the 25th December.
<p>The Erzgebirgian people celebrate Christmas Eve with a feast, the Neinerlaa (literally: nine different things). There are many rules surrounding the Neinerlaa. It would take too long to mention them all here. But the nine ingredients that gave the Neinerlaa the name have special meanings. The Griene Kließ (raw potato dumplings) will bring money, the lentils or the millet little money, the beetroot red cheeks (i.e. health), the root celery fertility, bread roll milk white clothes (i.e. order in the house). Also important, there must be animals on earth (sausage from the pig), in the air (goose) and in the water (now herring, formerly also carp).
</p><p>When I decided to make a Neinerlaa puzzle, it quickly became clear there should be a sudoku, because there are nine rows, nine columns, nine boxes and nine numbers. The pioneering role of the components are symbolized in our puzzle by nine kinds of arrows. And to top this, there is sometimes a purple cell border if the sum of the neighboring cells is 9.
</p><p>By the way, one of the rules of the Neinerlaa feast is, that you may only get up when the meal is finished. So don't stop to solve the puzzle until the puzzle is solved ;-)</p></i>
</p><p>Fill in all cells of the grid with numbers 1 to 9. In every row, every column and each 3x3-fat-box each number occurs exactly once.
</p><p>If there is a purple border between two cells, then the sum of the two cells is 9. (Note: It may be that is the sum of other neighboring cells is also 9.)
</p><p>There are nine different arrows. They have the following meaning (see also the legend of the grid):

</p><p>Fill in all fields of the diagram with the neinerlaa numbers 1 to 9 In every row, every column and each 3x3-fat-rimmed areas are neinerlaa numbers, ie each number occurs exactly once.
</p><p>If found between two fields, a violet field limit, is the sum of the two fields 9th (Note: It may be that is the sum of other fields, between 9th) </p>
<p>There are neinerlaa arrows) have the following meaning (see also the legend of the graph: </p>
<ul>
<li> Don't Arrow (orange arrow): the number that is in the cell with the arrow must not occur again in the specified direction.
</li><li> Last number (increasing) (red arrow): the number in the cell with the arrow is the last increasing number in the sequence of cells that are located in the arrow direction. If the sequence is 2-3-5-1-6, the arrow would have a 5. If the sequence is 6-1-5-3-2, it would be a 6.
</li><li> last number (decreasing) (light blue arrow): the number in the box with the arrow is the last decreasing number in the sequence of fields that are located in the arrow direction. If the sequence is 6-1-5-3-2, the cell with the arrow would have a 1, in the sequence 2-3-5-1-6, it would be a 2.
</li><li> different numbers (pink double arrow): The number in the cell with the arrow indicates how many different numbers are located in the arrow direction. For example, if the sequence would be 2-3-2-6-1-3, then the number is 4.
</li><li>hidden skyscrapers (fat orange arrow): The number in the box with the arrow indicates how many cells can be seen in the arrow direction. A cell is visible if all cells in front of it have smaller numbers.
</li><li>pencil (stylized black pencil): The number in the box with the tip is 1 greater than the other cell in that the pencil is.
</li><li>smaller numbers (bold green arrow): The number in the box with the arrow indicates how many fields in the direction of the arrow containing smaller numbers (Note: In the direction of the arrow the same number is possible. This is different than usual with this puzzle format.)
</li><li>pandigital product (yellow ellipse with a black arrow): in the yellow ellipse is the product of the numbers on the arrow. The number is read in the ellipse as a two-digit number from left to right. For example, when the arrow numbers are 3 and , then in the ellipse are the numbers 1 and 5 (3 * 5 = 15).
</li><li>sum arrow (green rectangle with a black arrow): the green rectangle contains the sum of the numbers on the arrow.

<p>This is a combination of some sudoku variants.</p>
<p>Fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains the digits 1 through 9. The grid must fulfill the following rules:
<ul>
<li>Sudoku X: The both main diagonals contain each the digits 1 through 9.
</li><li>Sum Search Sudoku: The equal signs mark the relations between the sums of the digits of the cages. In cages there can't be the same digit repeated.
</li><li>Arrow Sudoku: The digit in a circle is the sum of the digits which are marked with its arrow.
</li><li>Ratio Sudoku: The fractions between two cells give the ratio of the digits. For example 2/3 can stand for the following combinations of numbers in the adjazent cells: 2 - 3, 4 - 6, 6 - 9, 3 - 2, 6 - 4 and 9 - 6.
</li><li>Wheel Sudoku: The wheels in the grid contain each 4 values. These values will go in the cells the numbers are in. Doing this the wheels must be rotatated to the right position. (Not mirrored or changed the order of the digits.)

</li><li>Upper centre - Killer <=>: Relation signs represent the relation between the sums of the digits in the sub-regions.
</li><li>Upper right - Greater/Less Sudoku: The inequality between each pair of digits must stand correct.
</li><li>Centre left - Arrow Sudoku: The digit in a circle is the sum of the digits which are marked with its arrow.
</li><li>Centre - Magical square: the sum of any row, any column and both main diagonals in this area is always the same.
</li><li>Centre right - Product Sudoku: Digits in a sub-region multiply up to the specified number.
</li><li>Lower left - Addoku: Digits in the outside equal the sum of the three numbers of the corresponding row or column in the contigous box.
</li><li>Lower centre - Killer: Digits in a sub-region add up to the specified number.
</li><li>Lower right - Sum Box Sudoku: First two row of numbers add up to the number formed on the third row.

<p>Fill the grid with the digits 1 to 9. The digits represent the height of the skyscraper in each cell. Each row, column and 3x3-box will have exactly one of each digit. The clues along the edges tell you how many skyscrapers you can see from that vantage point.
</p><p>In each 3x3 box their is a different rule to follow:
<ul>
<li>Upper left - Even/Odd Sudoku: Yellow cells must contain odd digits, green cells must contain even digits.
</li><li>Upper centre - Min Max Quad Sudoku: The red points in the near of crosses where four cells meet each other show that the cell with the red points is greater then the three other ones. The blue rings in the near of crosses where four cells meet each other show that the cell with the blue ring is smaller then the three other ones.
</li><li>Upper right - Arrow Sudoku: The digit in the circle is the sum of the digits which are marked with its arrow.
</li><li>Centre left - Difference Sudoku: The numbers between two cells give the difference of the digits.
</li><li>Centre - Navigator Sudoku: The arrows show the location of the same number in the previous or next column or row. So for example, the arrow in fifth column means that the same digit is in the sixth column in row 6 - 9.
</li><li>Centre right - Greater/Less Sudoku: The inequality between each pair of digits must stand correct.
</li><li>Lower left - Ratio Sudoku: The numbers between two cells give the ratio of the digits. For example 2/3 can stand for the following combinations of numbers in the adjazent cells: 2 - 3, 4 - 6, 6 - 9 and vice versa.
</li><li>Lower centre - Killer Sudoku: Digits in a sub-region add up to the specified number.
</li><li>Lower right - Creasing Sudoku: Numbers going along grey lines must be in increasing or decreasing order from one end to the other.
